So, we moved....again. :)

You may think you are reading an old post....because 3 summers ago, you will remember I was blogging about our first attempt in home renovating. 

Well, we renovated and LOVE(d) our Wilcrest house!!  But, we decided it was time for a change, so we moved after only being in our old house for a little under two years. 

Here is our Wilcrest House post renovation.  Isn't it pretty.  I love it!  So glad a great family bought our home to make their own wonderful memories.

 Quickly after selling our Wilcrest house, God perfectly timed a chance meeting with a builder that Alex had been keeping in contact with....and Voila -- we now have a lot, with an old house on it.  Only difference is that this time, we are NOT renovating.  That sucker is going away and we are starting from scratch.  So far our builder, Realex Homes has been AMAZING!!  Very high quality, very organized and easy to work with.

Here is our new lot, which I will be referring to as the Taylorcrest House.

Ironically, our new old house looks very similar to the Wilcrest house pre-renovation.

Kind of funny huh?  Although if you are familiar with the Spring Branch area -- you are not surprised because this floorplan and style of home is VERY common.

Anyways....we are getting really excited about building.  Are you ready to ride along with us....again.  :)  My Dad thinks we just like to move and actually bet us a free vacation that we would move again with 5 years.  You can bet we will stick it out at least that long now -- who would turn down a free vacation?!?!?!
