The Best Christmas Gift I have ever received!!

My WONDERFUL husband!

So, even though Alex and I have been together for almost 8 years now....he still amazes me day after day and God still continues to unveil more and more things about Alex that I adore. I always feel like there is nothing that Alex could do to suprise me, and then WHAM God proves me wrong.

Well, this is my tribute to Alex....who completes me more perfectly than I ever thought possible. Alex is the best blessing ever. This past weekend was wonderful simply because we spent the WHOLE weekend together. I just can't spend enough time with Alex. He makes me laugh, makes me feel beautiful and I am just so GRATEFUL for him.

PROPS to ALEX:
This past weekend, Alex and I were finishing up our Christmas shopping and all I wanted this year were clothes. My work clothes are getting very worn out and my shoes are SAD. The pair I am wearing right now are flats with bows, but one of the bows is missing. :( So, Saturday was Tonya shopping day and I discovered that Alex has tied with my mom as my FAVORITE shopping buddy. We got to the Galleria at 11:00 am on Saturday and shopped until the mall closed!(encouraged by Alex btw..I was exhausted, but he wanted to keep going) Alex was so patient with me and helped me find some very cute stuff. Growing up with 2 guys who ABSOLUTELY HATED shopping, I can appreciate Alex for this special level of patience.

Plus, Alex knew my obsession with Christmas going into this holiday season and has dove into the holiday spirit with me. He has helped me with everything...the tree, what ornaments to buy, the wreaths, the garland, the wrapping paper, the bows, the music, the food. :) He is so great.

Anyways, these are just two examples of little things I love about Alex. He loves Christmas too, but because he knows how much I LOVE IT, he is even more excited about it. It just shows how much he cares about me that he will sacrifice TWO full weekends of football and Cougar basketball, so we can finish up all our christmas shopping.

Anyways....thanks Alex for everything you do. I couldn't be more grateful for you.

tonya! how funny is this? just when i thought mine was the only man who would help pick out decorations! mark helped me pick out and hang garland on our mantle, and helped pick out wreaths and even picked out ribbons for the wreaths. how blessed we are to have such sweet men!
