Calling all Marathoners!

I am coordinating a training group for the Dallas marathon which takes place on December 14, 2008. So far, there are about 8 of us that are going to start training. There are a couple of people that are unsure if they can complete the training, but are at least going to start.

My theory, after my extensive marathon experience (the whole ONE marathon I have run), I believe that as long as you don't have physical issues like bad knees or ankles, ANYONE can train to run a marathon. When Jenn and I started our training for the marathon in 2005, we were only able to run one mile at a time. It is like any other sport, you have to build up your endurance and get over the mental hump.
If you are interested in training with us, let me know and I will add you do the email list.
Alex and I fly out to Nashville today for my friend Brandyn's wedding and will return on Sunday. Pray for safe travel and good weather. (it is an outdoor wedding)
